Sterling Gullet Plate

Engineered for compatibility with saddles featuring the Sterling Tree, the Sterling Gullet Plate is a key component in achieving an optimal fit for your horse. Designed specifically for use with models like the Bastia Synthetic Jump Saddle, this adjustable gullet plate allows riders to modify saddle width to suit their horse’s changing conformation.

Adapt to Your Horse's Changing Shape

A horse's back shape can shift over time due to factors like age, fitness level, exercise intensity, or even seasonal changes. As a result, keeping your saddle correctly fitted is crucial to maintaining your horse’s comfort, freedom of movement, and long-term performance.

Why Fit Adjustment is Important

A well-fitted saddle prevents pressure points and encourages better communication between horse and rider. The Sterling Gullet Plate, when used in combination with the Sterling Gullet Sizing Gauge, provides a reliable system to help you select the most appropriate width for your horse—no guesswork involved.
